I started off wanting to practice High Risk Obstetrics as a Medical Student and then went to Toronto on an elective. After working with the team there I realized I was more interested in the fetal condition than the maternal aspects of care. My next rotation was Pediatrics and I guess I fell in love. I continue to love that it allows for a mixture of hands on procedures, intellectual stimulation and academic exploration. The field remains young and as such exciting and open for exploration. There continue to be many unanswered questions!
