When I first started I went to parties, out at night with friends and was probably getting less than 5 hours sleep a day. I wasn’t eating properly and couldn’t understand why I couldn’t concentrate. Never affected me in university so why would it in med school? Not a great start for a future MD! Now I eat breakfast, lunch and dinner, get at least 8 hours of sleep and spend more time studying during the day and evening. I am better able to retain information better and still have a social life of sorts. What have you or are you learning about life in med school?

You and I would be in the same boat. Can i ask how long it took to fix your routine? What motivated you to completely re-haul and build a better routine for yourself? How did you start?
I ask because I know many people who would like to fix their routines but find it extremely difficult to adjust to new schedules.
