    Fel, as you like Genetics, I would recommend looking into Medical Genetics. No, you won’t be experimenting on human genes, but you’ll be applying genetics to medical care and treating genetic disorders or birth defects. It’ll be constructive genetic applications. Plus there’s also Ophthalmic genetics, so if you decide too, we might end up working together (if it’s meant to be). ;) I’d also recommend Internal Medicine (Infectious disease) given your inquisitive nature and foresight. :)
